Practices nurses are critical to delivery of the primary care agenda and their role has developed and enhanced over the past few years. There are a number of roles a practice nurse can fulfil in a practice and a clear career pathway.

 

SYBPCWG has identified that 40 new nurses are requires each year across the area in order to sustain current levels of service.
