First Local Workforce Action Board – a re-alignment

Following the decision at the last meeting that members would be interested in the group developing into an active part of the Local Workforce Action Board (and therefore helping to ensure primary care is supported through changes described in the Sustainability and Transformation Plan), the group was formally asked to take on this role this week. Clarification on what support the group will have is awaited and will determine how effectively it can function in this role and new Terms of Reference will be drafted for agreement.

In the mean time, we will endeavour where possible to deliver the workforce workshops as planned if CCGs can provide some space and also to ensure that we are able to have effective communication to grass roots practitioners to show that we are trying to provide some support.
